The play follows Roland, a beekeeper, and Marianne, a theoretical astronomer, through their romantic relationship. Marianne waxes poetic about cosmology, quantum mechanics, string theory and the concept of multiple universes pulling people’s lives in various directions, as the play itself takes the pair’s story through the stars to alternative realities.
